President: Serves as SSCC's legal agent, sets agenda for and presides over congregational and Leadership Council meetings, and partners with Lead Pastor to discuss opportunities and issues that may arise in the congregation. Ensures compliance with the Constitution and Bylaws, supports Officers and lay leaders, and performs other duties of the office. This is a two-year term.
Chair of Care and Connect: Responsible for ministry programs and events that strengthen the SSCC community through invitation, fellowship, support and assistance. This is a three-year term.
Personnel Chair: Advises and counsels the Lead Pastor and The Day School (TDS) director on personnel issues, performance reviews, salary recommendations, and legal requirements. Leads a team to develop, renew, and update personnel and employment policies of SSCC and TDS and recommends any changes in policy of the Employee Handbook. This is a three-year term.
Memorials/Legacy Fund/Youth Scholarship Chair: Responsible for working with the Finance Committee when funds are requested to be administered for memorials, legacy, and/or scholarship funds. This is a three-year term.
Chair of Elders: Responsible for leading Elders and performing their roles which include: member communication and congregational care, worship participation, and leading Elder meetings. This is a three-year term.
Chair of Deacons: Responsible for leading Deacons and performing their roles which include: working with the Elders to offer ocngregational care, preparing and serving communion, and encouraging members to participate in church events and activities. This is a three-year term.
Elders: Provide spiritual leadership and service in worship, including prayer, and in congregational connection and care. Serves as an advisory group to the ministers and the Leadership Council about congregational needs, concerns, interests, and priorities. This is a three-year term.
Deacons: Serves the congregation by assisting in worship and partnering with the Elders to offer congregational connection and care. This is a three-year term.
