SSCC Fall Half Work Day

Come join us the morning of Saturday, October 10th to spruce up & beautify the grounds around SSCC! These past several years we have made colorful & rejuvenating enhancements to several neglected areas around the church by adding many new flowering trees, bushes and perennials, plus much hardwood mulch. We still have several more areas to upgrade, and would love for many hands to help us make another big dent in developing a sustainable landscape. Our key planting areas for this fall are the Abernathy Road entrance and the area in front of the Whitmire Pavillion.Other minor enhancements will be made as we continue to refine each garden. So, come join us between 8:30 and noon and enjoy playing in God's beautiful nature with your pew neighbors!
